Rebecca Wellock, Fine Artist

Rebecca Wellock completed a degree in Fine Art Printmaking at MMU and is passionately continuing her pursuit of creativity in acrylic painting.

Rebecca paints with excellence and passion, capturing the unseen realm, dreams, mystical places and the love of the Father. As a Christian, she see's the world through her pure imagination, sensitively bringing heavenly concepts to earth through visual means.   

'I really want my paintings to invoke an emotional response from the viewer, to awaken lost and forgotten dreams and to connect them back to their Heavenly Father's love and destiny as a child of God. Art and creativity is like pure life to me, a river literally running through my inner most being. I want to help others connect with their dreams again and i believe this can happen powerfully through creativity and art' 

Rebecca's journey with art has been interwoven with poetry, song writing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, drawing and painting. Rebecca enjoys the creative process and has been involved in taking art to South Sudan and Mexico where she worked with creative teams to empower orphans and disadvantaged children to create and heal through arts and crafts.
